Job summary

China CITIC Bank International Limited in Hong Kong seeks an experienced remittance operations professional to support daily payment processing, name screening, and regulatory compliance.

You will handle Faster Payment, SWIFT, CHATS, and respond to inquiries from customers and banks, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and risk controls. Applicants should have at least 3 years in remittance operations, strong English/Chinese communication, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or above preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant remittance operations experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of Remittance and Payment products and operations (Faster Payment System, SWIFT Alliance System, CHATS).
• Proficient in MS Office and regulatory AML compliance.

Responsibilities

• Check and approve SWIFT/ CHATS remittance transactions.
• Assist team head to supervise daily remittance operations.
• Handle remittance inquiries from internal and external customers.
• Handle and follow up complicated and irregular remittance cases.
• Perform AML/CFT name screening evaluation of remittance transactions.
• Respond to AML/CFT related enquiries from correspondent banks.
• Manage watch list and special pricing for customers.
• Perform day-end reconciliation of payment messages.
• Assist in preparing monthly management report.
• Monitor daily transaction processing of Faster Payment system.
• Report issue found on Faster Payment transactions.
• Handle exception case of Faster Payment transactions.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports for Faster Payment transactions.
• Perform other duties assigned by Team Head and supervisors.
