Job summary

OCBC Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Remittance Specialist/Manager to join our client service and payments team. The role focuses on processing outward and inward remittance transactions, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will work with AML/CFT controls, interact with branches and customers, and prepare daily and monthly reports. Fluency in English and Mandarin and 1–3 years banking remittance experience are required.

Qualifications

• Typing and communication skills; familiar with remittance procedures.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Able to work under pressure.
• At least 1 year of banking experience; 3 years remittance experience for manager role.

Responsibilities

• Process outward remittance applications from multiple channels incl. ebank, branches, and internal departments.
• Handle inward remittance transactions via IRS for credit payments and intermediate payments.
• Manage inward/outward clean bills collection and account postings under Deposit Teller System.
• Handle time-deposit instructions and currency exchange references.
• Perform AML checks, report suspicious activity in coordination with AML/CFT Compliance Officer.
• Prepare daily/monthly reports for management review and filing of transactions and day-end reports.
