Job summary

GF International Investment Management Limited in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, seeks a Remittance Checker/Maker for a 2-year contract to support daily remittance operations. In this role you will perform checker duties, handle L1 payments and SWIFT messages, and liaise with Front Office/AMO to resolve irregularities.

You will execute inward/outward remittance transactions, perform daily postings and reconciliations, and contribute to control tasks and UATs for system upgrades.

Qualifications

• University degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in cheques and remittance.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willing to work overtime if required.
• Fluent in English; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Checker duties on daily operations.
• L1 function on payments and SWIFT messages in Fircosoft; take necessary actions.
• Liaise with Front Office/AMO for irregularities; prepare referrals when needed.
• Review and update department procedure manuals; perform drill tests with HKICL and DPS.
• Perform posting, bank charges, and Nostro reconciliation; assist audits.
