Job summary

SMCP Asia Limited in Hong Kong seeks a Regional Human Resources Manager - Compensation & Benefits to oversee payroll oversight, manage compensation programmes and drive data-driven HR reporting across Asia Pacific. You will collaborate with Paris HQ, align budgets, administer benefits, and ensure policy compliance while guiding local HR partners and improving efficiency.

Qualifications

• University degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences or a related discipline.
• Strong HRIS proficiency and analytical skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and advisory skills.
• Experience in payroll oversight and HR administration.
• Knowledge of employment laws in APAC markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly reconciliation of regional budget and HR data reports in collaboration with headquarters in Paris.
• Consolidate inputs from local HR teams, validate data consistency across reports and systems.
• Investigate discrepancies and coordinate corrections to deliver accurate, complete reports within monthly deadlines.
• Manage compensation and benefits budgeting and analysis, develop HR KPI dashboards, validate HRIS data, and prepare reports for budget meetings.
• Take regional ownership of payroll oversight and HR administration, with local teams responsible for payroll processing.
• Review and approve payroll with local HR partners to ensure accuracy and timely payment.
• Maintain accurate payroll system data, monitor regional payroll costs and improve processes for cost efficiency.
• Oversee regional compensation and benefits programmes, including commissions, incentives and salary reviews.
• Lead HR compliance and development of policies and internal rules.
• Coordinate HRIS implementation and budgeting tools for regional projects.
