Morgan McKinley in Hong Kong is seeking a Compensation Accounting professional to support payroll, accounting and reporting for employees. The role collaborates with regional CA teams across Asia Pacific and external payroll vendors, with exposure to global projects.

The candidate will have a business/finance degree, 2–3 years' experience (Big 4 preferred), proficiency in MS Excel, and knowledge of local tax rules. Mandarin is a plus and strong control mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, accounting or finance.
• 2–3 years of relevant work experience including human capital at Big 4 accounting firms.
• Experience in GL posting and accounts reconciliation.
• Knowledge of individual income tax and benefit programs is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.

Responsabilités

• Coordination and processing of compensation information.
• Reporting and accounting, both internally as well as to external authorities.
• Commitment to control, ensuring data has gone through proper internal controls.
• Review, reconcile and substantiate general ledger account balances.
• Assisting in formulating payroll processes for new operations and tax efficiency.
• Working closely with global CA counterparts in compensation reporting.
• Documentation of processes.
• Participation in global projects.
