Job summary

Agilis Robotics Limited seeks a skilled software engineer to lead daily programming, debugging and testing of real-time robotic software. You will design high-performance control algorithms and develop HIL simulations to validate safety and latency targets.

The role requires a degree in a related field and strong Python/C#/OpenCV skills, with preference for experience in medical device software lifecycles (IEC 62304, ISO 13485) and ISO 13485 auditing.

Qualifications

• Degree holder or above in related fields.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, OpenCV, etc.
• Proficiency in use of AI tools.
• Understanding of medical device software development lifecycles (IEC 62304, ISO 13485) is highly desirable.
• Certified ISO 13485 internal auditor is preferred.
• Responsible, independent with strong problem-solving skills. Team spirit and ability to work under pressure.
• Innovative and research minds are preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily programming, documents, and testing.
• Architect, implement, and maintain high-performance software and control algorithms.
• Design and execute hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulations, unit testing, and integrated system testing to verify robotic accuracy, safety, and latency standards.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, software requirement specifications (SRS), test plans, and verification reports compliant with international medical device standards.
• Perform daily debugging, maintenance, and optimization of real-time software on physical robotic arms and control consoles.
• Work with the team to identify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, formulate solutions and execute the plan; estimate scope and timelines.
• Collaborate with team members to define, design, and build applications.
• Support any other ad hoc tasks assigned.
