Job summary

Agilis Robotics Limited is seeking a senior R&D leader to drive development planning and AI research for medical device applications. The role focuses on software integration, prototype design, and vendor negotiations, with strong emphasis on problem solving and independent work.

The candidate should have a Master’s degree or higher and 15+ years of experience, including 5+ years in related fields, plus expertise in Python, C/C++, CUDA, and OpenCV, as well as Azure/AWS/Alicloud and SaaS tools.

Qualifications

• Master degree or above in related field is required.
• Preferred at least 15 years of working experience and 5 years of related fields experience.
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, CUDA, OpenCV.
• Proficiency in use of AI tools
• Experience in various corporate and project management SaaS technologies will be an advantage
• Experience and technical knowledge in Azure, AWS, and Alicloud will be an advantage
• Experience in solution sourcing and procurement is important
• Responsible, independent with strong problem-solving skills. Team spirit and ability to work under pressure.
• Innovative and research minds are preferred

Responsibilities

• R&D development planning and monitoring, including software, system integration and compliance.

• Provide technical/electronics supports for experimental set ups & trials.
• Review and prepare documentations such as functional specification, technical specification and test plan.
• Establish and manage internal corporate and project management systems.
• Lead solution procurement and vendor negotiation.
• Work with the team to identify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, formulate solutions and execute the plan; estimate scope and timelines.
• Collaborate with team members to define, design, and build applications.
• Support any other ad hoc tasks assigned.
