Job summary

Agilis Robotics Limited is seeking an experienced QA/Test Engineer to design and execute system testing for high-precision surgical robotic software. You will lead manual, automated, and HIL testing across GUI, embedded systems and motion controls, ensuring traceability to IEC 62304, ISO 13485 and ISO 14971.

You will drive defect management, risk mitigation with software, mechanical, and clinical teams, and build robust QA automation pipelines while solving technical challenges under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience with QA for medical device software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute system testing strategies for high-precision surgical robotic software.
• Lead manual, automated, and hardware-in-the-loop testing across GUI, embedded systems, and motion controls.
• Create test plans, protocols, scripts, and traceability to IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971.
• Drive defect management, root cause analysis, and risk mitigations with cross-functional teams.
• Build and optimize QA automation pipelines, environments, and regression suites.
• Identify technical problems, perform RCA, formulate solutions, and plan timelines.
• Support ad hoc tasks as required.

Job description

• Responsible for design and execute system testing.
• Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive end-to-end system testing strategies for high-precision surgical robotic software.
• Lead the execution of manual, automated, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing across software GUI, embedded systems, and robotic motion controls.
• Formulate test plans, protocols, test scripts, and traceability matrices compliant with international medical device standards (e.g., IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971).
• Drive defect management, root cause analysis, and risk mitigations alongside software developers, mechanical engineers, and clinical teams.
• Build and continuously optimize QA automation pipelines, test environments, and regression suites to accelerate development cycles.
• Work with the team to identify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, formulate solutions and execute the plan; estimate scope and timelines.
• Support any other ad hoc tasks assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder or above in related fields is required.
• Preferred at least 5 years of related fields experience.
• Proficiency in use of AI tools
• Responsible, independent with strong problem-solving skills. Team spirit and ability to work under pressure.
• Innovative and research minds are preferred
