Job summary

Pacific Building Material (Project) Limited is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with 5+ years of experience in commercial/quantity surveying for interior fitting out works in Hong Kong. You will establish pricing guidelines, estimate costs, monitor budgets, negotiate terms, and manage the commercial administration for projects.

You will also prepare tender documents, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain relations with subcontractors, and contribute to cost control and reporting across diverse

• Degree / Diploma / Certificate in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines.
• Experience with cost control, contract administration and project reporting.
• Proficiency in reading drawings and specifications for interior fitting out works.

Job description

Establish standardized pricing guidelines and perform cost estimation

Requirements

5+ years of relevant experience in a commercial/quantity surveying role within the construction industry (interior fitting out work)

Degree / Diploma /Certificate in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines

Knowledge of using AUTOCAD for measurement is a must

Proficient in contract administration, cost control and project reporting

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Strong ability to interpret drawings, specifications and technical documents related to interior fitting out works

Extensive experience in re-measurement, valuation of variations, cost control, contract administration, claims preparation and management of subcontractor accounts

Good knowledge of measurement, contractual skills

Experience in Residential Projects is preferred

Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and tools will be an advantage
