Job summary

Delken Group Limited is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to manage budget cost, cost planning and tender packages for fit-out projects in commercial sectors. You will analyse tenders, assist procurement of sub-contractors and prepare interim and final accounts.

The ideal candidate holds a higher diploma or above in QS/Building, 3–5 years of fit-out experience with main contractor or sub-contractor firms, and is fluent in English and Cantonese. Immediate availability is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Quantity Surveying/Building/Construction or related discipline.
• 3-5 years or above relevant experience in Fitting out Projects in Main Contractor/Sub-contractor firms.
• Immediate availability is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the Budget Cost or Tender for submission.
• Preparation of the Cost Plan.
• Preparation of Tender packages for Sub-Contractor pricing.
• Responding to Sub- Contractor questions during the tendering stage.
• Analysing tender returns for completeness and compliance with documents.
• Assisting the Commercial Manager procuring the Sub-Contractors and material suppliers.
• Certify Sub-contractor payments and Prepare Interim Payment Application to Client.
• Analysis of Variation Cost is submitted by the Sub-contractor’s and preparing & issuing variation cost to the Client.
• Preparation of the Project Final Account.
• Collect and update market prices for material and labour cost, for database to be kept up to date.
