Job summary

SIIC Investment Company Limited in Wan Chai seeks a Building Engineer/Maintenance Engineer to oversee daily repair and maintenance across a mixed property portfolio. You will supervise on-site contractors, monitor quality and progress of works, and respond to emergency service breakdowns.

The role requires a Higher Diploma or above in Building Services or related field, 3+ years’ experience, and registration as a Electrical Worker (A) or above.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering / Facilities Management / Building Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience preferably gained in property developers, management companies in property maintenance or related field.
• Registered Electrical Worker License “A” Holder or above.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Good command in computer skills, speaking and writing English and Chinese.
• Proactive, good time management and ability to work independently and handle multi-task.
• Knowledge of Minor Works System & Buildings Ordinance.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day repair and maintenance of a mixed property portfolio including office, industrial, residential, commercial and retail properties.
• Supervise the contractors on site and check quality and progress of works, to ensure quality workmanship and output.
• Handle emergency cases including breakdown of essential building services system and Ad-hoc projects.
• All other works as directed by Manager, Projects & Building Services Department from time to time.
