Job summary

Delken Group Limited seeks an Engineer, Building Services to manage facilities operations for a Grade A industrial building in Tsing Yi. You will oversee E&M systems, supervise contractors, and respond to emergencies, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant degree, 3 years’ experience, and a valid Electrical Worker license. Proficiency in AutoCAD and bilingual communication in English and Chinese is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in facilities operation & maintenance in property/building management.
• Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate holder.
• Registered Electrical Worker License “A” holder or above.
• Good command of English and Chinese in written and spoken form.

Responsibilities

• Perform facilities management maintenance for building services, security systems, and refurbishments in a Grade A industrial building at Tsing Yi.
• Inspect, prepare reports, and flag incidents or irregularities of E&M equipment.
• Supervise on-site contractors and monitor workmanship quality and progress.
• Handle emergency cases related to essential building services breakdowns.
• Coordinate with building management to ensure smooth daily operations and provide technical support.
• Manage Building Management System (BMS) and liaise with maintenance contractors to uphold standards.

Job description

Our client is a Leading Property company, engaged in property investment, rental and development, estate management and hotel operations. They are currently seeking for an Engineer, Building Services to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform facilities management maintenance services for building services system, security system and refurbishment projects of an Grade A industrial building at Tsing Yi
• Conducting routine inspection, preparing inspection reports and report any incidents, alarms, irregularities or abnormalities of E&M equipment for properties
• To supervise the contractors on site and check quality and progress of works, to ensure quality level up to standard workmanship and output
• To handle emergency cases due to breakdown of essential building services system and other issues
• To assist and work closely with building management office to provide technical supports and to ensure smooth daily operations
• Manage the Building Management System (BMS), coordinate with relevant maintenance contractors in setting up and sustaining the best maintenance standard and parties
• Any other works as directed by Manager from time to time

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma / Degree Holder in Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering / Facilities Management with minimum 3 years’ experience in facilities operation & maintenance
• Possess Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate
• Registered Electrical Worker License “A” Holder or above
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience preferably gained in property developers, management companies in property maintenance or related field
• Candidates with more relevant experience will be considered as Senior Engineer
• Good command in speaking and writing English and Chinese
• Familiar with AutoCAD and good computer skill
• Well versed in statutory requirements of B.S. / Electrical System and Facilities Management
• Self motivated, responsible and able to work independently with good time management
