Eton Management Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Technical Officer / Assistant Technical Manager to oversee technical operations across residential and commercial properties. You will supervise contractors, manage repair refurbishments, and ensure compliance with HK safety regulations.

The role requires 8–10 years in maintenance or facility management, strong knowledge of E&M systems, and fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Surveying, or related disciplines.
• Holder of Registration Certificate of Electrical Worker (Grade B / A) is preferred.
• Minimum 8-10 years of solid technical maintenance, facility management, or repair project experience in HK.
• In-depth knowledge of E&M building systems, HVAC, plumbing/drainage, and HK safety codes.
• Good communication in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

• Evaluate, verify, and justify contractor quotations, scope of works, tenders, and variations for cost reasonableness.
• Supervise external engineering contractors and term maintenance vendors; monitor workmanship, site safety and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with Hong Kong regulations, Building Management Ordinance, EMSD safety codes, and fire safety ordinances.
• Perform ad hoc technical tasks and operational duties as assigned by management.

Senior Technical Officer/ Asst Technical Manager (Building Services)

The Senior Technical Officer / Assistant Technical Manager will oversee technical operations, perform repair inspections, evaluate and justify contractor service proposals, and manage end-to-end follow-ups for finished repairs, turn-over unit refurbishments, and asset improvement projects across residential and commercial properties & units in Hong Kong.

Job Responsibilities

Oversee daily technical operations, building services maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems across residential and commercial properties and individual units in Hong Kong.

Evaluate, verify, and justify contractor service quotations, scope of works, tender submissions, and variation orders to ensure cost reasonableness and high service standards.

Supervise external engineering contractors and term maintenance vendors, conducting performance evaluations and monitoring workmanship, site safety, and schedule adherence.

Ensure strict compliance with Hong Kong statutory regulations, Building Management Ordinance, EMSD safety codes, and fire safety ordinances across all residential and commercial assets.

Perform ad hoc technical tasks and operational duties assigned by management.
