Job summary

St. James’ Settlement in Wan Chai is hiring to run the Youth-centric Comprehensive Sexuality Education project in secondary schools and communities. You will engage youth online and offline, coordinate with project staff, and lead youth-led initiatives.

The role focuses on bridging online and offline support for parents and students, developing an online engagement plan, and monitoring performance to fulfill the organisation's mission. St. James’ Settlement has a long history dating back to 1949.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate Degree or Diploma (QF Level 4) or above.
• HKDSE with five subjects Level 2 or above, including Chinese and English.
• Strong command of English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement Youth-centric Comprehensive Sexuality Education in schools and communities.
• Develop online and offline support for parents and students on relationships.
• Create and monitor online engagement plan and measure impact against mission.

Job duties:

• Work with youth and project staff in the planning and implementation of “Youth-centric Comprehensive Sexuality Education” project in secondary schools and community, including online engagement, offline programme, youth-led initiatives and other related activities
• Develop and bridge up online and offline support for parents and students who need further support on interpersonal relationships
• Plan and develop comprehensive online engagement plan for the project and monitor the performance and effectiveness in achieving the mission of the project

It was then developed into a six-storey building on Kennedy Road in 1963 to provide diversified services, including children and youth services, elderly services and rehabilitation services. In 1987, the headquarters was opened in Stone Nullah Lane so that the scope of services could be further extended.
