Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a logistics and business development professional to support route development between Nordics, China and Hong Kong. You will actively generate qualified leads, drive conversions for high-value opportunities, and conduct market research to shape business planning.

Responsibilities include steering pricing for local and global RFQs, collaborating with Procurement and Products, and managing project delivery with internal teams and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in project management, logistics, supply chain or related disciplines.
• Proven ability in business development, pricing and trade lane analysis.

• Actively generate high-profile leads, target new customers, lead the conversion of high-value business opportunities with the assigned trade lane.
• Conduct in-depth market research and analyze competitor solutions, pricing strategies and trade lane dynamics to identify untapped sectors and construct business planning.
• Responsible to steer pricing levels for local and global tenders (RFQs).
• Collaborate closely with Procurement and Products to develop innovative, tailored solutions to meet customer demands and to align with carrier conditions.
• Manage and execute assigned projects, including planning, tracking, and delivery.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution of trade lane activities.
• Monitor performance metrics (e.g., cost, service levels, volume) and support profitability tracking.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support continuous improvement and decision-making.

• Capability to build strong business relationship.
• Ability to define requirements, analyze facts, and determine relevant solution.
