Job summary

Shanghai Construction Overseas Engineering Limited 上海建工海外工程有限公司 invites applications for a Project Manager on a building project in Lai Chi Kok. The role requires a bachelor degree, 9-10 years of relevant HK construction and project management experience, and strong knowledge of building regulations, safety, and site supervision.

The successful candidate will liaise with the Building Department, clients, consultants and stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery, provide leadership

Qualifications

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Building, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in building construction and project management in Hong Kong.
• Solid understanding of building regulations, site supervision practices, and safety management.
• Experience in liaison with Building Department, clients, consultants and stakeholders to achieve timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Current Authorized Signatory for a RGBC under the Hong Kong Buildings Ordinance is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin preferred).
• Immediate availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, program, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with fitting out, E&M and curtain wall subcontractors to achieve project goals.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, safety regulations, and quality standards set by the Buildings Department.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to project teams, engineers, and site staff.
• Prepare project documentation, risk assessments, and progress reports for management review.
