Job summary

Gravitas Recruitment Group (Global) Ltd is seeking an experienced AI Project Manager to lead end-to-end AI and GenAI initiatives for a leading financial institution in Hong Kong. You will drive delivery across business stakeholders, product teams, data scientists, engineers and vendors to maximize customer impact and business value.

The role requires 5+ years in project management with AI delivery, strong stakeholder engagement, and expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 5+ years of Project Management, Digital Transformation, Technology Delivery, or Consulting experience.
• Proven experience delivering AI, GenAI, ML, Chatbot, Intelligent Automation, or Data Analytics projects.
• Strong understanding of AI concepts including LLMs, RAG, Prompt Engineering, Conversational AI, and AI-powered automation.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders across business and technology functions.
• Solid knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Strong project planning, risk management, vendor management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of AI, GenAI, ML, and Automation projects from initiation through implementation.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify AI use cases, define project scope, business requirements, timelines, and success metrics.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Product, Data Science, Engineering, Operations, Risk, and Compliance to ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
• Drive Agile project delivery, including sprint planning, backlog management, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones, business outcomes, and value realization.
• Support vendor selection and manage relationships with external AI solution providers and implementation partners.
• Facilitate workshops and governance meetings to align stakeholders on priorities, requirements, and delivery plans.
• Ensure AI solutions comply with data governance, security, regulatory, and responsible AI requirements.
• Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to leverage AI across business functions.
