Job summary

Gravitas Recruitment Group (Global) Ltd in Hong Kong seeks an experienced AI Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of AI and GenAI initiatives for a leading financial institution. You will coordinate with product, data science, engineering, operations, risk and compliance to realise measurable business value.

The role requires strong project management, Agile and waterfall experience, vendor relations, and excellent communication with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field as listed in the requirements.
• 5+ years of Project Management, Digital Transformation, Technology Delivery, or Consulting experience.
• Proven experience delivering AI, GenAI, ML, or data analytics projects.
• Strong understanding of AI concepts (LLMs, RAG, Prompt Engineering, Conversational AI).
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of AI, GenAI, Machine Learning, and Automation projects from initiation through implementation.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify AI use cases, define scope, requirements, timelines, and success metrics.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Product, Data Science, Engineering, Operations, Risk, and Compliance.
• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
• Drive Agile project delivery, including sprint planning, backlog management, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones and value realization.
• Support vendor selection and manage relationships with external AI solution providers and partners.
• Facilitate workshops and governance meetings to align priorities and delivery plans.
• Ensure AI solutions comply with data governance, security, regulatory, and responsible AI requirements.
• Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to leverage AI across functions.

• Strong understanding of AI concepts, including LLMs, RAG, Prompt Engineering, Conversational AI, and AI-powered automation.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders across business and technology functions.
• Solid knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Strong project planning, risk management, vendor management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
