Duties and Responsibilities
- Strong leadership and guidance to the production team, fostering a positive leading and motivating production team for productive work environment.
- Developing and implementing production daily, weekly and monthly work orders plans and schedules to meet deadlines for production goals.
- Supervising the activities of production workers, ensuring they follow work plans & procedures to meet production targets.
- Hands-on production work schedules, coordinating with other departments (e.g., procurement, logistics, engineering), and adjusting schedules as needed to meet deadlines and demand to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitoring production processes to optimize workflow and resource allocation, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to optimize efficiency and maintain quality standards.
- Overseeing inventory levels of raw materials, WIP finished, finished and supplies, coordinating with procurement to ensure adequate stock.
- Ensuring that products meet ISO quality standards and specifications.
- Implementing and maintaining Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) strategies.
- Conducting regular safety inspections and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Ensuring that all employees abide and adhere to company policies and work procedures, including those related to safety, quality, conduct and behavior.
- Hands-on troubleshooting production issues, identifying and resolving production problems, such as equipment malfunctions or material shortages, implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
- Managing manpower, equipment, tooling & fixture and raw materials to meet production objectives.
- Compiling production reports, communicating performance metrics to management, and providing regular updates on production status.
- Identifying and implementing cost-saving measures and process improvements.
- Setting and Tracking production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and preparing performance reports.
- Analyzing production data output and identifying areas for improvement.
- Developing and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth production flow and resolve issues.
