Job summary

OMNI All IN (SINGAPORE) PTE.LTD. in Hong Kong seeks a Production Equipment Technician to ensure uptime and perform maintenance, repair, and service on semiconductor equipment.

You will troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, and support backend production operations. The role requires a diploma or equivalent in engineering, hands-on experience in semiconductor manufacturing, familiarity with testers and handlers, and willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts including nights; cleanroom

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITE in engineering or equivalent required.
• Hands-on experience in semiconductor testing/manufacturing preferred.
• Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work in a cleanroom environment and 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain uptime and perform maintenance on production equipment.
• Repair and service semiconductor equipment and assist backend operations.
• Follow safety, quality and operation procedures at all times.
• Check equipment setup, monitor performance and troubleshoot alarms.
• Record shifts and report to operation Supervisors; coordinate with maintenance.
• Assist preventive maintenance team when required.

About the role

In-charge of Production Equipment Uptime and Maintenance, doing Repair & Service. You will troubleshoot equipment issues, monitor performance, and support backend production operations in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• In-charge of Production Equipment Uptime and Maintenance, doing Repair & Service
• Follow Operation, Quality & Safety regulations at all times while maintaining the Equipment
• Check Equipment hardware, socket and handler device setup at start of shift
• Troubleshoot for the Handler when alarm occurs (Site jam, device missing, machine overheat, machine timeout, double tray)
• Write down record per shift and report to the Operation SupervisorsMonitor the Equipment/Handler performance for highest performance
• Change the hardware with preventive maintenance team when necessary
• Set-up (Alignment, maintains down sites, change Device setup, adjust offset)
• Check & verification of the traveller data is correct (step by step)
• House keeping at end of shift, and teamwork with operation to ensure quality & safety

About you

• Minimum ITE/Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years of related working experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred
• Prior hands‑on experience in Test Production manufacturing (mechanical/electrical, troubleshooting)
• Experience with Tester, Handler and Final Test Backend Equipment/Tools
• Able to demonstrate good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Experience in either a Semiconductor Final Testing Environment or Manufacturing industry
• Willing to work in Cleanroom environment
• Able to perform 12 hours rotating shifts (Both day & night shift), when business needs
