Job summary

Singapore Pharmatech Pte. Ltd. in Hong Kong is seeking a QA & Production Executive to support both QA/QC and production operations, ensuring products are manufactured safely and in compliance with GMP standards.

You will work with Production, QA/QC, and Warehouse teams to maintain product quality and efficient processes. The role involves QA documentation, inspections, deviation handling and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in a relevant science/engineering discipline.
• 1-2 years QA, QC or Production experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in pharma, food, health supplement or FMCG manufacturing is an advantage.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO or other quality management systems is preferred.

About the role

We are looking for a QA & Production Executive to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting both Quality Assurance and Production operations, ensuring that products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and applicable GMP requirements. You will work closely with the Production, QA/QC, Warehouse and other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day manufacturing operations and consistent product quality.

Key responsibilities

Quality Assurance

• Assist in implementing and maintaining the company's Quality Management System (QMS)
• Ensure manufacturing activities comply with GMP, SOPs, quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Conduct incoming, in-process and finished product inspections
• Review production and quality records to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Assist in handling deviations, non-conformances, CAPA and customer complaints
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections
• Assist in investigation and root cause analysis of quality issues
• Ensure proper control and maintenance of QA documentation and records
• Monitor and follow up on corrective and preventive actions
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality and manufacturing processes

Production

• Coordinate and monitor daily production activities to ensure production schedules are achieved
• Work closely with production operators to ensure manufacturing procedures are followed correctly
• Monitor production output, yield, productivity and product quality
• Ensure production areas, equipment and processes are maintained according to required standards
• Assist with production planning, manpower coordination and resource allocation where required
• Identify production issues and work with relevant departments to resolve them promptly
• Ensure proper completion of batch manufacturing records and production documentation
• Assist in investigating production variances, process deviations and other operational issues
• Support new product trials, process improvements and production-related projects

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Manufacturing, Engineering or a related discipline
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in QA, QC or Production within a manufacturing environment
• Experience in pharmaceutical, food, health supplement or FMCG manufacturing will be an advantage
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO or other quality management systems is preferred
• Familiar with QA documentation, SOPs, inspections and quality records
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and production operations
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Meticulous, responsible and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with different departments
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
