Job summary

CITIC Telecom CPC is seeking a skilled engineer to install, test, launch and support our in-house telecom service platform in Hong Kong. You will monitor system performance, plan capacity, and provide Tier 3 support to engineering and operations teams.

The role emphasizes AI tools, cloud tech and 5G knowledge, with opportunities for senior level based on experience. A strong bilingual English/Chinese capability is required, with a competitive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years in telecom/IT industry.
Certifications in Cloud or AI are highly valued.
Additional certifications in 5G Core, VoNR, PCF, and Charging Systems are a strong advantage.
Knowledge of Microsoft server applications, MSSQL, Linux, virtualization, and cloud-native environments (Docker, K8s, CI/CD).
Strong understanding of AI tools and techniques; experience applying AI agents in O&M preferred.
Proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
More experience may be considered for Senior Product Engineer.

Responsibilities

Install, test, launch and support in-house telecom service platform.
Monitor systems, enhance platform and plan capacity.
Provide Tier 3 support to engineering and operations teams.
Introduce new tools and AI agents to improve testing, deployment and maintenance.
Manage patents, software copies and innovative project initiatives.
