Job summary

CMB Wing Lung Bank Limited is seeking a Branch Operations professional to support daily operations and provide counter services for Private Banking, Private Wealth Management, and Corporate Banking departments in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities include processing remittances, account management, on-site ID checks, and end-of-day reconciliations. The role requires strong communication in English and Chinese, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant banking experience in branch operations or counter services.
• Sound communication skills, independent and able to work under pressure.
• Good in both spoken and written English and Chinese; Fluency in Putonghua a definite advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office application (Word and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Perform non-cash financial transaction processing including remittance services.
• Execute all transactions promptly, accurately and comply with the Bank policies and guidelines.
• Account management including account opening, signature amendment, maintenance & account closure.
• Process banking service applications.
• Perform on site ID check for transactions and account opening.
• Handle transactions phone confirmation and monitoring.
• Ensure day end reconciliation including stock management.
• Take ownership of problems & issues on daily operations and timely escalate to team leader with recommendations.
• Work collaboratively with supporting units on operations aspects.
• Perform administrative works and prepare reports.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.
