Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Prime Brokerage Operations Associate in Hong Kong to provide direct client coverage and support key post-execution processes, including equity swap allocation and cash trade management. You will work with global stakeholders to deliver high-quality service and drive operational efficiency.

You will contribute to post-execution support within Product Support & Services, focusing on trade allocations, settlements, and strong risk management.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services operations.
• Experience in client servicing and stakeholder management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of risk controls and escalation processes.
• High accuracy and numeracy skills.
• Analytical problem-solving to identify and resolve issues.
• Ability to collaborate with local and global colleagues.
• Proficiency in Excel; VBA or macro experience preferred.
• Typically 2+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily client-related functions including trade allocations, amendments, client queries and reporting within timelines.
• Oversee swap trade allocations, investigate breaks and resolve exceptions.
• Perform cash trade matching and settlement with focus on risk and controls.
• Build relationships with clients through proactive engagement and quality service.
• Partner with global stakeholders to address client needs and resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency through root cause analysis.
• Participate in straight-through processing initiatives and system enhancements.
• Adhere to controls and manage operational risks.
