Job summary

Morgan Stanley Asia Limited seeks a Prime Brokerage Operations Associate to provide direct client coverage and support post-execution processes, including trade allocations and cash trade settlement. You will collaborate with global teams to enhance controls and drive efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have at least 2 years in financial services operations, strong client servicing skills, and proficiency in Excel; VBA experience is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; VBA or macro experience preferred.
• At least 2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily client-related functions including trade allocations, amendments, client queries and reporting within specified timelines.
• Oversee swap trade allocations, investigate breaks and ensure timely resolution of exceptions.
• Perform cash trade matching and settlement activities while maintaining strong risk controls.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients through proactive engagement and high-quality service.
• Partner with global stakeholders and operational groups to address client needs and resolve issues effectively.
• Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency through root cause analysis and operational enhancements.
• Participate in straight through processing initiatives and system enhancement projects.
• Adhere to established controls and escalate issues to management in a timely manner.
