Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Trade Support Associate to provide front-to-back operational support for issuance and lifecycle management of Structured Products, Exotic OTC swaps and options in Hong Kong and Tokyo.

Join a collaborative Operations team that partners with Sales, Trading and external counterparties to ensure accurate processing, controls and timely client servicing in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of equity derivatives trade support and middle office operations.
• Understanding of equity derivative products, structured products, OTC swaps, options and lifecycle events.
• Ability to operate independently while escalating issues appropriately.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience identifying control gaps and driving operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Execute trade capture, confirmation, settlement and lifecycle management for OTC and Structured Products.
• Support issuance, post-trade processing and ongoing servicing of Equity Derivatives products.
• Collaborate with Sales and Trading to resolve trade exceptions and client inquiries.
• Coordinate with IPAs, custodians and clearing houses for corporate actions and lifecycle events.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks and control exceptions promptly.
• Monitor daily operational controls for accurate transaction processing.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve efficiency across support model.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams for a consistent client experience.
