Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Trade Support Associate to provide front-to-back operational support for the issuance and lifecycle management of Structured Products, Exotic OTC swaps and options in Hong Kong and Tokyo. This role sits in the Operations division, focused on transaction support and post-execution processing.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of equity derivatives trade support and related lifecycle events.
• Ability to operate independently and escalate issues appropriately.
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute trade capture, confirmation, settlement and lifecycle management for OTC and Structured Products.
• Support issuance, post-trade processing and ongoing servicing for Equity Derivatives.
• Collaborate with Sales and Trading to resolve trade exceptions and inquiries.
• Liaise with external agents, custodians and clearing houses for actions and lifecycle events.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks, control exceptions and operational risks.
• Monitor daily controls to ensure accurate processing.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation and efficiency.
• Collaborate with regional/global stakeholders to ensure a consistent client experience.
