Job summary

SPTel Pte Ltd is seeking a Customer Solution Architect / Presales Engineer (Connectivity & Managed Services) to partner with sales teams, lead technical discovery, and architect integrated solutions across core WAN, optical transport, and enterprise LAN/edge networks.

You will design high-availability optical and transport topologies, manage end-to-end solution architecture, and drive technical responses for enterprise RFPs, tenders, and POCs, delivering compelling designs and concrete BOMs

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a telecoms/IT field required.
4–6 years presales/solution-architecture experience in ISP/telecom/MSP.
Deep mastery of OTNs, DWDM, ROADM architectures.
Experience with 100G/400G/800G optics and link budget calculations.
Proficiency in BGP-4, OSPF, MPLS, SR-MPLS/SRv6, MEF 3.0 CE.
Experience designing high-capacity, low-latency DCI topologies.
Familiarity with SD-WAN, NGFW, and campus Wi-Fi deployments.
Strong presentation and proposal writing skills.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery and architect integrated solutions across WAN/optical transport.
Design high-availability optical and transport topologies.
Prepare HLD/LLD, BOM and technical proposals for RFPs.
Present architecture and run POCs for enterprise stakeholders.
Coordinate with product, network engineering, and operations to ensure smooth handoff.
