Job summary

Cathay Pacific Airways Limited is seeking a Lounge Duty Manager in Hong Kong to support the Lounge Service Delivery Manager and oversee operations for Cathay’s First and Business lounges at Hong Kong International Airport.

You will lead the Lounge Service Team to deliver world-class service, supervise F&B, manage stock and hygiene, and drive continuous improvements in the guest experience. This role requires strong leadership, English proficiency, and a passion for hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in premium hospitality or airline lounge operations with strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Lounge Service Team to ensure lounge service excellence and compliance with standards.
• Deliver personalised and memorable experiences for premium customers in collaboration with the Lounge Service Delivery Manager.
• Supervise food and beverage presentation, quality, and service speed while ensuring hygiene, stock handling, and financial procedures.
• Oversee buffet and stock levels of all lounge service items and ensure replenishment.
• Oversee performance management and development of the Lounge Service Team including training, coaching, and daily task delegation.
• Enhance communication and foster strong team relationships by leading by example.
• Handle complaints and decide on service recovery measures as required.
• Seek ways to enhance quality of lounge experience through cost efficiency, innovation, technology and relevant initiatives.
• Support the Lounge Service Delivery Manager with administrative tasks and coordination with the airport manager for flight-specific duties including VIPs.
• Stay updated on hospitality and lounge industry trends and customer insights; suggest positive changes.
