We’re looking for a capable, personable and highly organised Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to a Consultant Manager at Britannia StudyLink.
You’ll communicate directly with parents, students, schools and partners, including VIP families who require attentive, discreet and well‑coordinated support. Alongside client communication, you’ll manage application administration, scheduling, documentation and follow‑ups.
This is a hands‑on role requiring sound judgement, efficient execution and consistently high standards. You should be comfortable taking ownership of routine work, asking sensible questions and using ChatGPT and other digital tools to improve productivity.
Excellent spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin, together with strong written English and Chinese. You must be comfortable holding unscripted telephone conversations with UK schools and Mandarin‑speaking parents, understanding their concerns and responding clearly and professionally.
A warm, tactful and composed manner, with the confidence to deal with clients who expect attentive, personalised service. Able to listen carefully, follow up courteously, manage expectations and handle sensitive conversations without becoming defensive or making promises beyond your authority.
Able to work promptly without compromising accuracy. You are expected to check your own work and produce clear, well‑presented documents and correspondence with minimal reworking. Names, dates, figures, attachments and instructions must be verified before submission or sending.
Able to understand the purpose behind a task, anticipate next steps and resolve routine issues without constant instruction. Review available information, ask focused questions when necessary and recognise when a decision or approval is required.
Able to manage several active cases, maintain clear records and follow matters through without repeated reminders. Take responsibility for commitments, raise problems early and handle client and business information confidentially.
Hands‑on experience using ChatGPT or similar AI tools to improve productivity, with a willingness to use ChatGPT actively in daily work. Able to refine instructions, assess responses and verify the results. Fast, accurate Chinese and English typing and confidence with email, messaging platforms, documents, spreadsheets and CRM systems are essential.
Quick to absorb unfamiliar information, learn working preferences and apply feedback consistently. Comfortable with both client‑facing responsibilities and detailed administrative work. Previous education‑sector experience is not essential, but a strong ability to learn is.
Relevant experience in a client‑facing assistant, coordination, admissions, client services or administration role is preferred. Experience supporting senior professionals or providing attentive service to private clients would be an advantage.
Familiarity with UK or overseas education systems is also an advantage, whether gained through study, work or relevant professional experience. Applicants with UK or Hong Kong international‑school experience are welcome, but this is not a requirement.
