Job summary

Ping An Bank Hong Kong Branch is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily remittance and payment processing, transaction reconciliation, and regulatory reporting. You will ensure timely settlements, participate in system enhancements, and support audits and risk management initiatives.

The role requires 3–5 years in banking payments operations, strong knowledge of FPS/RTGS/SWIFT/SAA, and fluent English and Chinese, with Mandarin proficiency required.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years banking operations experience in payments departments.
• Strong knowledge of FPS, RTGS, SWIFT, SAA and related payment systems.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese; Mandarin fluency is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Process daily remittance and payment transactions, including remittances, telegraphic transfers, FPS, cheque clearing, and fund transfers.
• Perform transaction reconciliation and investigate discrepancies, exceptions, and customer inquiries.
• Responsible for product-settlement-related payment processing, including subscription, redemption and dividend disbursement.
• Monitor the smoothness of transaction execution and exceptional cases handling.
• Participate in system enhancements, UAT, process improvement projects, and industry contingency drills.
• Support audits, regulatory reviews, regulatory reporting, and risk management initiatives
• Prepare MIS reports, management and regulatory reports.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned.
