Job summary

Ping An Bank Hong Kong Branch is seeking an Operations Manager (Payments) for Private Wealth Management to oversee daily remittance and payment processing. You will ensure accurate reconciliation, investigate discrepancies, and support product-settlement activities including subscriptions and dividends.

The role requires a university degree in a related field and 3–5 years in banking payments with strong knowledge of FPS, RTGS, SWIFT and HK regulatory projects.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration / Mathematics / Finance or related discipline
• 3–5 years banking operations experience in payments
• Solid knowledge of FPS, RTGS, SWIFT, SAA and related payment systems
• Experience with HKICL, HKMA and SWIFT regulatory projects

Responsibilities

• Process daily remittance and payment transactions including remittances, telegraphic transfers, FPS, cheque clearing and fund transfers
• Perform transaction reconciliation and investigate discrepancies, exceptions and customer inquiries
• Responsible for product-settlement-related payment processing such as subscription, redemption and dividend disbursement
• Monitor the smoothness of transaction execution and handle exceptional cases
• Participate in system enhancements, UAT, process improvement projects and drills
• Support audits, regulatory reviews, reporting and risk management initiatives
• Prepare MIS and regulatory reports
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned
