Job summary

Better Payment Network in Hong Kong is seeking a Payment Operations Associate to support daily payment operations, onboarding new partners, and ensuring accurate transaction processing within control frameworks.

You will collaborate with Compliance, Finance, and Tech to maintain high data quality, resolve payment issues, and drive process improvements. 1–2 years in banking middle office or operations is expected; strong attention to detail and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in banking or financial institution middle office or operations.
• Hands-on exposure to end-to-end operational processes, including due diligence and onboarding preparation.
• Experience managing payment operations and transaction processing.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort with high volumes and time-sensitive work.
• Clear written and verbal communication, and able to work with both internal teams and external clients.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding and due diligence: prepare onboarding packs, collect documentation, coordinate KYB/KYC reviews.
• Payment operations and transaction processing: end-to-end handling, monitoring, settlement follow-up, and issue resolution.
• Operational control and process improvement: maintain procedures, spot bottlenecks, and propose automation.
• Client and account support: serve as operational contact for RFI/RFP, payment queries, and account changes.
