Job summary

Upper House Hong Kong, part of Swire Hotels, is seeking a Pastry Chef to lead a pastry team and craft exceptional culinary experiences for our guests. You will manage daily pastry production, uphold strict hygiene standards, and refine recipes while driving service excellence across the Pastry section.

The ideal candidate combines extensive bakery and patisserie experience with strong supervisory skills and a passion for innovative dessert concepts, contributing to a luxurious guest experience

Qualifications

• 6 years bakery, patisserie, chocolaterie, confiserie and glacier experience.
• 6 years relevant job experience after graduation.
• 3 years supervisory experience.
• Excellent Food and Beverage knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily basic food preparation in Pastry.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards with daily inspections.
• Update recipes for all sections under charge.
• Inspect quality of bread and desserts.
• Propose and initiate new services and products for guests (when approved).
• Perform other duties as required by the department head.
• Maintain a cost-efficient and industrious department.
