Job summary

Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Sha Tin is seeking a Chef de Partie / Commis - Pastry to support the Pastry Kitchen operations and uphold Hyatt's standards of quality and hygiene.

You will prepare and produce pastries, cakes, desserts, breads and other bakery items according to established recipes, ensuring timely service and guest satisfaction. This role is full-time and locally based, with hourly pay for entry-level staff.

Qualifications

• Ideally with a relevant certificate, apprenticeship or diploma in Culinary Arts, Pastry Arts or Hospitality Management.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a hotel, bakery or well-established restaurant.
• A passionate team player with good knowledge of pastry production and food hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Pastry Kitchen while maintaining Hyatt's high standards of food quality, hygiene and guest satisfaction.
• The Chef de Partie / Commis - Pastry is responsible for preparing and producing pastries, cakes, desserts, breads and other bakery products according to established recipes and quality standards.
