Job summary

Hyatt Regency Hong Kong Sha-Tin is seeking a Pastry Chef/Commis to support daily pastry kitchen operations, producing pastries, cakes, desserts, breads and other bakery items to Hyatt standards.

You will ensure timely preparation, uphold hygiene and safety, and contribute to guest satisfaction through high-quality creations; ideal candidates have relevant culinary qualifications and at least 1 year hotel or restaurant pastry experience.

Qualifications

• Certificate, apprenticeship, or diploma in Culinary Arts or Pastry Arts preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in hotel, bakery, or restaurant.
• Able to work as part of a team and maintain high pastry standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce pastries, cakes, desserts, and breads.
• Maintain food hygiene and safety standards.
• Support daily operations of the Pastry Kitchen.
