Job summary

Macdonald & Company Limited is seeking a dynamic Business Development professional to lead university partnerships and student recruitment in Hong Kong. You will engage with mainland China education agents, international schools, and corporate partners to drive accommodation demand.

Responsibilities include negotiating partnerships, developing joint campaigns with marketing, and presenting management reports. A strong network in education sectors and fluent English and Mandarin are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, student recruitment, education marketing, university relations, leasing, or hospitality.
• Strong network within universities, education agencies, student recruitment channels, or international education sectors.

• Negotiate commercial agreements, referral partnerships, and promotional campaigns with external stakeholders.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop joint marketing campaigns, roadshows, webinars, student events, and campus activations.

• Build relationships with Mainland China education agents, international schools, and university placement consultants to generate student referrals.
• Identify and establish partnerships with corporate organizations, relocation agencies, and scholarship providers to drive accommodation demand.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, referral partnerships, and promotional campaigns with external stakeholders.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop joint marketing campaigns, roadshows, webinars, student events, and campus activations.
• Analyze occupancy trends, lead sources, and partnership performance to maximize student bookings and revenue.
• Represent the company at education fairs, industry conferences, university events, and networking functions.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing partners and identify opportunities to expand collaboration.
• Support market research and identify new business opportunities in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and other international student markets.
• Prepare partnership proposals, business cases, presentations, and management reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Real Estate, Education, or related disciplines.
• 3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, student recruitment, education marketing, university relations, leasing, or hospitality.
• Strong network within universities, education agencies, student recruitment channels, or international education sectors.
• Knowledge of the Mainland China student market is highly preferred.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; Cantonese is an advantage.
• Experience in student accommodation, co-living, education, hospitality, residential leasing, or property sectors is preferred.
