Job summary

Well Link Financial Group in Hong Kong seeks an Operations Quality Assurance & Control Manager to coordinate compliance, internal audit, and risk management reviews, ensuring timely action plans and sustained remediation.

You will oversee reporting, identify risks, and work with Operations to align controls with the group risk framework, while designing policies and value-added quality assurance measures.

Qualifications

• University degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Good understanding of regulatory requirements on AML / CFT, CRS/FATCA, IA guidelines, etc.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external reviews (compliance, internal audit, risk management) to ensure timely remedial actions.
• Coordinate with Compliance and Risk Management to prepare regular/ad hoc reports.
• Identify risk and control items and ensure controls align with Group risk framework.
• Assess Loss and Fraud incident reports to identify root causes and remediation measures.
• Prepare regular MIS reports to risk and compliance.
• Review operations manuals to ensure controls are in place.
• Participate in regulatory projects and update guidelines/procedures.
• Assist in designing and implementing policies and quality assurance mechanisms.
• Provide recommendations to improve control environment and operational efficiency.

Job description

Operations Quality Assurance & Control Manager

Coordinate internal and external reviews (compliance, internal audit, risk management, etc.), monitor compilation of management action plans and perform periodic review with relevant teams in Operations to ensure the delivery of improvement / remedial actions within the agreed schedules.

Coordinate with relevant teams in Operations to prepare regular and ad-hoc reports required by Compliance and Risk Management.

Coordinate with various teams in Operations to identify risk and control items and ensure that the controls are aligned with Group’s risk management framework.

Assess Loss and Fraud incident reports prepared by relevant teams of Operations to ensure that root causes are identified, interim and long term rectification measures are in place.

Prepare regular MIS report to risk, compliance

Periodically review operations manual and ensure the controls are in place

Quality assurance operations process the controls are in place

Participate in regulatory related projects and follow up with relevant teams in Operations to ensure that guidelines / procedures are timely issued and regularly updated.

Assist in designing and implementing of policies and quality assurance mechanism to enhance quality service of Operations.

Make practical and value-added recommendations to improve control environment and efficiency and effectiveness of Operations.

Take up ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

University degree with over 5 years relevant experience, preferably in the insurance / banking industry.

Good understanding of regulatory requirements on AML / CFT, CRS/FATCA, Guidelines of Insurance Authority, etc.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as analytical skills

Well organized, self-initiative and a good team-player

Ability to deliver quality work under tight schedule and pressure

Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese

Good PC skills in MS office
