Job summary

Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Ltd (Hactl) seeks an Operations Officer (Operations Solutions) to coordinate with freight forwarders, truckers and charterers, and to support project execution across operations teams.

You will conduct market trend analyses, respond to inquiries, and prepare concise reports and presentations to guide management decisions while ensuring timely delivery and compliance with internal standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration/communications/Logistics or related disciplines.
• Three years’ experience in air cargo or related field.
• Demonstrates strong organizational and communication abilities, with a collaborative mindset.
• Proficient in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
• Capable of working independently and multitasking effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, truckers, and charterers.
• Conduct market trend analysis and compile market trend reports for management.
• Provide administrative support to ensure smooth project execution.
• Respond to customer inquiries with viable solutions aligned to business goals.
• Assist manager in organizing agency events such as seminars and meetings.

• Lead initiatives to enhance customers' understanding of the company.
• Oversee project planning within timelines, budgets, and scope.
• Supervise team paperwork, including reports, Excel sheets, and PowerPoint presentations.

• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, truckers, and charterers.
• Conduct market trend analysis, manage customer inquiries, provide administrative support to ensure the smooth execution of projects and initiatives, compile market trend reports and deliver concise updates to manager.
• Stay informed about industry news and anticipate market demands.
• Manage customer inquiries and provide viable solutions to align with their business goals.
• Assist manager in organizing agency events such as seminars and regular meetings.
• Coordinate with various government bodies to streamline and enhance operational processes and explore new service opportunities.
• Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing customers' understanding of the company.
• Support manager in planning, organizing, and overseeing project completion within set timelines, budgets, and scopes.
• Supervise team paperwork, including preparing reports, Excel sheets, and PowerPoint presentations.
• Perform ad hoc administrative assignments under the guidance of manager and coordinate with internal and external parties for follow-up actions as required.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration/ communications/ Logistics or related disciplines is preferred.
• Three years’ experience in air cargo or related field is preferred.
• Demonstrates strong organizational and communication abilities, with a collaborative mindset that thrives in team-oriented environment.
