Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) invites a seasoned finance professional to lead day-to-day Accounting operations in a high-growth logistics environment. You will supervise a team of finance professionals and drive accurate financial reporting, budgeting and compliance across the group.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal stakeholders, audits, and process improvements, including automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting and finance experience, preferably in reporting.
• Experience in aviation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (AP/AR/GL).
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports in line with standards.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and management reports.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and assist audits.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis for strategic projects.

Key Duties

• Support the management of day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger activities.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports in compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements and Group policies.
• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts and management reports.
• Review payment runs, employee expense claims and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor cashier functions.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and facilitate audit processes.
• Handle all taxation matters to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Identify inefficiencies in existing finance processes and drive process improvements and automation.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support for strategic projects.
• Supervise and coach a team of finance professionals, fostering their growth and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, preferably in financial reporting and management accounting.
• Experience in the aviation industry is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience in Oracle ERP solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Good commands in written and spoken Chinese and English.
