Job summary

China Ping An Insurance Overseas (Holdings) Limited is seeking an experienced asset management operations professional in Hong Kong to oversee daily fund operations, KYC/AML tasks, and regulatory filings. You will collaborate with fund administrators, custodians, and vendors to ensure seamless processes.

The role requires 5+ years in asset management, knowledge of equity and fixed income, and fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines.
• At least 5 years in asset management; senior roles considered.
• Knowledge of equity and fixed income products.
• Familiar with HK Type 9 regulatory/licensing requirements.
• Strong presentation and communication; fluent English, Mandarin, Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations: subscription, redemption, NAV calculation.
• Coordinate with fund admin, custodian, vendors for smooth operations.
• Provide solutions for operation issues and daily flow.
• Assist in KYC, AML, CFT processes and due diligence.
• Assist in new fund onboarding and process improvements.
• Participate in annual fund audits and regulatory filings.
• Contribute to system enhancements and ad hoc projects.

Job description

• Support daily operations functions including subscription, redemption, dividend distribution, trade settlement, fees payment, reconciliation and NAV calculation
• Work closely with service providers including fund administrator, custodian, vendors etc. to ensure smooth operations
• Providing direction and solution for operation issues, ensuring the smoothness of daily operation
• Assist in KYC, AML and CFT functions, perform due diligence and compliance monitoring
• Assist in new fund launching/fund on-boarding and process improvements
• Assist in annual audit of products/funds and regulatory filings
• Participate in system enhancement and ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree holder in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines
• At least 5 years of related experience in asset management firms. Candidate with more experience will be considered as senior position.
• Possess product knowledge equity and fixed income.
• Familiar with regulatory and compliance matters relating to Type 9 licenses in Hong Kong
• A good team player with self-motivated, target-oriented and hard working
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese
