Job summary

CMB Wing Lung Bank Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an ETF operations professional to manage daily fund operations, including NAV calculation, subscriptions/redemptions, and corporate actions. You will coordinate with custodians, brokers and index providers to ensure accurate settlements and timely processing.

You will also ensure compliance with SFC Type 9 requirements, prepare regulatory reports, and support valuation and liquidity management.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of solid fund operations experience, ETF fund management exposure preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related fields.
• CPA qualification is a strong advantage.
• Proficient in Excel and PPT; able to process complex data and prepare operational reports.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Ability to work under pressure during peak periods (month-end/year-end).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily operation and management of ETF products, including NAV calculation and review, subscription and redemption processing.
• Coordinate with custodian banks, brokers, index providers and transfer agents for trading, settlement and corporate actions and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure all fund operations comply with SFC Type 9 license requirements.
• Prepare regulatory reports to the SFC, HKEX and other authorities on time.
• Complete daily valuation of private funds and resolve valuation exceptions promptly.
• Manage fund cash flow and liquidity; coordinate with investment team for transactions.
• Collaborate with investment, risk, compliance and product teams to provide operation support.
• Drive process optimization and promote automation and digitalization of operation links.

Job description

• Responsible for the daily operation and management of the company's SFC-authorized ETF products, including net asset value (NAV) calculation and review, subscription and redemption order processing, constituent stock adjustment, dividend distribution, and expense accrual.
• Coordinate with custodian banks, brokers, index providers and transfer agents to ensure the accurate and timely execution of ETF trading, settlement and corporate action processing, and resolve any operational discrepancies.
• Ensure all fund operation activities strictly comply with SFC's Type 9 license regulatory requirements
• Prepare and submit regular regulatory reports to the SFC, HKEX and other regulatory authorities on time
• Complete the daily valuation of the private fund, check the consistency of valuation data between the administrator and the company's internal system, and deal with valuation exceptions in a timely manner.
• Manage fund cash flow, monitor fund liquidity position, and coordinate with the investment team to ensure the smooth execution of investment transactions.
• Work closely with the investment, risk control, compliance and product teams to provide operation support.
• Continuously optimize fund operation processes, promote the automation and digitalization of operation links, and improve operation efficiency.

EXPERIENCE:

• 2-3 years of solid fund operations experience, with hands-on experience in ETF fund management and SFC-authorized fund operations; previous working experience in hedge funds, third-party fund administrators, or audit firms is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related fields.
• CPA qualification is a strong advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, macro application, etc.) and PPT production, able to efficiently process complex data and prepare operational reports.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Strong sense of responsibility, high sensitivity to compliance requirements, excellent multi-task coordination ability and problem-solving skills, able to work under pressure during peak periods such as month-end/year-end closing.
