Job summary

Nanyang Commercial Bank in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced risk professional to formulate and maintain operational risk policies, advise business units, and review incidents to assess risk levels across banking products and workflows.

You will implement measures aligned with Basel requirements to ensure regulatory compliance, analyze incidents, and propose effective solutions to minimize the bank's risk, working with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Operation Management, Finance or related disciplines.
• At least 2 years of banking experience in operational risk or internal audit.
• Substantial knowledge in regulatory requirements relating to banking industry.
• Analytical, independent and objective when making judgments.
• Fluent in English, Chinese and Putonghua.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and maintain operational risk policies.
• Provide advisory for the BU on operational risk.
• Review and analyse operational incidents, evaluate risk level for banking products, services and workflow and recommend solutions to minimize risk.
• Execute measures with reference to Basel requirements to ensure the bank complies with policies and guidelines.
