Job summary

Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Business Compliance and Operational Risk Manager / Deputy to monitor operations and drive risk controls in line with regulatory requirements. The role collaborates with business units and the second line to implement compliance and operational risk standards.

The candidate should have a degree or above with relevant qualifications and 1–3 years banking operations experience, showing strong analytical and communication skills in Cantonese, Mandarin

Qualifications

• Degree or above; professional qualifications preferred (CPA/ACCA/CAMS/CIA, etc.).
• 1–3 years solid experience in banking operations, with focus on operational risk, internal control or auditing.
• Independent, with strong analytical, time management and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular operations and compliance monitoring to ensure regulatory and policy adherence.
• Formulate, evaluate and roll out control procedures; monitor high risk areas.
• Monitor rectifications and enhancements for operations risk and compliance issues.
• Collaborate with business and second line of defense to implement regulatory requirements.
• Assist in drafting policies and procedures meeting local regulatory and Bank requirements.
• Prepare management reports on compliance and operation risk matters.
• Deliver training to staff to promote compliance and risk awareness.
