Job summary

Bank of China (Hong Kong) is seeking a professional to assist supervisors in applying operational risk management tools across the bank's operations. The role includes reviewing processes to identify risks, recommending improvements, and monitoring remedial actions to ensure controls are effective.

The position also involves supervising subordinates, ensuring staff compliance with regulations, and helping to formulate and publish procedures in line with the bank's strategy and work plans.

Qualifications

• Degree holder, preferably in Business Administration or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience on retail banking with at least 1 year managerial experience.
• Good command of both spoken and written Chinese (including Putonghua) and English.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisors to apply operational risk management tools to identify, assess, monitor and control operation risk.
• Conduct reviews to identify possible operational risk, provide recommendations and monitor remedial actions.
• Supervise subordinates to ensure working effectively.
• Assist in formulating and publishing operational procedures aligned with work plans and Bank strategy.
• Conduct periodic reviews to identify operational risk and monitor remedial actions.
• Assure frontline staff’s compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
