Job summary

Hong Kong International Airport is seeking an Operation Officer, Landside Innovation & Operations to support daily operations across SkyPier Terminal, Ground Transportation Centre, car parks and road networks. The role involves patrols, incident response and coordinating with technical teams to maintain service quality.

Fresh graduates are welcome; candidates with an Associate Degree or Higher Diploma or higher may qualify for trainee or officer roles.

Qualifications

• Degree holders are welcome; fresh graduates may be considered.
• Associate Degree / Higher Diploma candidates with required experience may apply.
• Secondary education with sufficient experience may qualify for Trainee role.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• English and Chinese language skills are required; Putonghua is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support Landside Duty Manager to monitor day-to-day operations at SkyPier Terminal, Ground Transportation Centre, Car Parks and road network.
• Perform daily patrols and coordinate with technical staff for repairs and maintenance.
• Respond to incidents and communicate with internal and external parties for assistance and solutions.
• Supervise service contractors to ensure quality transport, cleaning and landscaping services.
• Maintain communication with partners and government departments to ensure smooth airport operations.
• Enforce bylaws, conduct investigations and prepare incident reports for management actions.
• Handle daily operation logs and reports.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
• Work on shift duties.

Responsibilities:

• Support Landside Duty Manager/ Assistant Manager to monitor day-to-day operations at SkyPier Terminal, Ground Transportation Centre, Car Parks and the road network
• Perform daily patrols in the assigned area and coordinate with technical staff for the repair and maintenance of defects
• Respond to incidents and communicate with internal and external parties for assistance, remedial actions and solutions
• Supervise and coordinate the service contractors, including road management, taxi services, indoor and exterior cleaning and landscaping, to ensure quality services delivery
• Maintain effective communication with the business partners and government departments to ensure smooth airport operations
• Enforce AA Bylaws, conduct on-scene investigations and prepare incident/ accident reports for necessary actions of management
• Handle and prepare daily operation logs and reports
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and duties as assigned
• Required to work on shift duties

Requirements:

• Degree holders in any discipline are welcome to apply. Fresh graduates will also be considered
• Candidates with an Associate Degree / Higher Diploma and at least 2 years' relevant experience, or secondary education with at least 4 years' relevant experience, may be considered for the position of Operation Officer
• Candidates with an Associate Degree / Higher Diploma without the required experience, or secondary education with at least 2 years' work experience, may be considered for the position of Operation Officer Trainee
• Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese with knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
• Holder of a valid HK driving license with Class 1. Holder with Class 2 is preferred
