Job summary

Airport Authority Hong Kong is hiring an Operation Officer/Operation Officer Trainee to support Landside operations at SkyPier Terminal, Ground Transportation Centre, car parks and road network. You will monitor daily activities, conduct patrols, and coordinate with engineers for repairs while handling incidents to ensure smooth operations.

Preference for holders of a degree; Associate Degree / Higher Diploma with relevant experience may be considered.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English and Chinese; Putonghua an advantage.
• Willingness to work in shifts and outdoors/indoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day Landside operations at SkyPier Terminal, Ground Transportation Centre, car parks and road network.

• Supervise service contractors to ensure quality and timely delivery of road, taxi, cleaning and landscaping services.
• Maintain communication with partners and government departments for smooth operations.
• Enforce AA Bylaws and prepare incident/accident reports for management.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Support Landside Duty Manager/ Assistant Manager to monitor day-to-day operations at SkyPier Terminal, Ground Transportation Centre, Car Parks and the road network
• Perform daily patrols in the assigned area and coordinate with technical staff for the repair and maintenance of defects
• Respond to incidents and communicate with internal and external parties for assistance, remedial actions and solutions
• Supervise and coordinate the service contractors, including road management, taxi services, indoor and exterior cleaning and landscaping, to ensure quality services delivery
• Maintain effective communication with the business partners and government departments to ensure smooth airport operations
• Enforce AA Bylaws, conduct on-scene investigations and prepare incident/ accident reports for necessary actions of management
• Handle and prepare daily operation logs and reports
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and duties as assigned
• Required to work on shift duties

Requirements

• Degree holders in any discipline are welcome to apply. Fresh graduates will also be considered
• Candidates with an Associate Degree / Higher Diploma and at least 2 years relevant experience, or secondary education with at least 4 years relevant experience, may be considered for the position of Operation Officer
• Candidates with an Associate Degree / Higher Diploma without the required experience, or secondary education with at least 2 years work experience, may be considered for the position of Operation Officer Trainee
• Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese with knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
• Holder of a valid HK driving license with Class 1. Holder with Class 2 is preferred
