Job summary

Global Talent Services Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an Operation Officer to support daily post-trade activities, including trade support, settlement, and documentation across funds.

Candidates with a Finance-related bachelor degree and 1+ year experience are preferred; fresh graduates are welcome. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and strong English/Mandarin communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
• 1+ year relevant working experience preferred; fresh graduates will also be considered.
• Prior exposure to Private Equity or Secondary Market funds is an advantage.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and operating systems.
• Good time management and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing daily operations support across post-trade lifecycle – trade support, distribution, settlement, reconciliations and documentation services
• Work closely with Product Managers, Fund Administrators, Legal Counsels, Fund Accountants and other related parties
• Manage documentation for subscription and redemption of funds, regular or ad hoc internal & external reports
• Monitor day-to-day deliverables with the relevant service providers to ensure all documents from relevant contracted services are received with exceptional service
• Respond and resolve enquiries on timely basis
• Assist in any ad hoc tasks if required

Job description

Our client is seeking a qualified candidate as Operation Officer.

Scope of Responsibilities:

Provide ongoing and daily operations support to client(s) across all aspects of the post trade lifecycle – trade support, distribution, settlement, reconciliations and documentation services

Work closely with Product Managers, Fund Administrators, Legal Counsels, Fund Accountants and other related parties

Manage documentation for subscription and redemption of funds, regular or ad hoc internal & external reports

Monitor the day-to-day deliverables with the relevant service providers to ensure all documents from relevant contracted services are received with exceptional service

Respond and resolve enquiry on timely basic

Assist in any ad hoc tasks if required

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree with major in Finance, Accounting or other related discipline

1+ year relevant working experience is preferred, but fresh graduate with major in Finance, economics, accounting and business will also be considered

Prior exposure to Private Equity or Secondary Market funds is an advantage

Good time management skill and able to work under pressure

Independent, pro-active, attentive to details, self-motivated, outspoken, keen to learn, able to adapt in new challenges

Good command of the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and operation systems

Excellent verbal and written communication skills – Mandarin and English
