Job summary

CICC in Hong Kong is seeking a detail-minded fund operations professional to coordinate with fund administrators on subscriptions, redemptions, KYC/AML, and client inquiries. The role supports new managed accounts and funds setup and liaises with custodians, prime brokers, and auditors.

You will perform valuation, cash management, trade settlement, and reporting, contribute to audits, and handle ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Engineering or related disciplines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with Mandarin and English.
• A good team player, detail-minded, keen to develop career in asset management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with fund administrator on subscriptions and redemption, client onboarding, KYC/AML and handle client enquiries.
• Support new managed accounts / funds set up.
• Liaise with custodians, prime brokers, auditors and other counterparties.
• Follow up account opening or trades processing issues with external parties.
• Responsible for investment portfolios / funds associated with liquidity risk management.
• Review reports from outsourced third parties and valuation.
• Participate in funds audit and perform valuation of investment instruments, trade settlement, cash management/reconciliation, corporate actions and proxy voting.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned.
• Update portfolio analysis for reporting to investors and management.
• Ability to work under fast-paced environment.

• Coordinate with fund administrator on the funds’ subscription and redemption, client onboarding, KYC/AML and handle client enquiries
• Support new managed accounts / funds set up
• Key person in liaising with counterparties, including custodians, prime brokers, auditors, etc.
• Follow up account opening or trades processing issues with external parties
• Responsible for investment portfolios / funds associated with liquidity risk management
• Review reports from outsourced third parties and valuation
• Participate in funds audit
• Perform valuation of investment instruments, trade settlement and cash management/reconciliation, corporation action, proxy voting, including but not limited to listed equities, fixed income and derivatives
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned
• Update portfolio analysis for reporting to investors and management
• Upright, humble, diligent with high moral values
• Bachelor degree with major in Accounting, Finance, Financial Engineering or related disciplines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good command of written and spoken Mandarin and English
• A good team player, passionate, detail-minded and keen to develop career in asset management industry

Knowledge in VBA or other programming languages, understanding in financial statements is a plus
