Job summary

Airport Authority Hong Kong (AA) invites high calibre professionals to join its ground handling operations. The role involves marshalling aircraft, patrolling ramps, handling safety incidents, and coordinating with airlines to ensure efficient ground movement.

We seek degree holders or experienced candidates who are team players with good communication and English/Chinese language skills. Fresh graduates are welcome; shift work is required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide marshalling guidance for aircraft docking, conduct patrol duties and check onramp operators' performance, and ensure compliance with safety standards on theramp in the optimization of operational efficiency


• Assist in the handling of aircraft emergencies and airside incidents includinginvestigation of traffic accidents and personal injury cases


• Perform patrol and bird control duties, conduct scheduled inspection on runway andtaxiway systems and facilitate in the monitoring of service contractors' performance


• Coordinate with airlines and business partners to ensure efficient ground handling ofaircraft, facilitate aircraft arrival / departure logistics, provide surveillance of rampactivities and maintain aircraft registration records


• Required to work on shift duties

Requirements:

• Degree holders in any discipline are welcome to apply. Fresh graduates will also be considered


• Candidates with an Associate Degree / Higher Diploma and at least 2 years' relevant experience, or secondary education with at least 4 years' relevant experience, may be considered for the position of Operation Officer


• Candidates with an Associate Degree / Higher Diploma without the required experience, or secondary education with at least 2 years' work experience, may be considered for the position of Operation Officer Trainee


• Team player with pleasant personality, good communication and interpersonal skills


• Detail-oriented, responsible, enthusiastic and self-motivated


• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese with knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage


• Proficient in Microsoft Office application


• Holder of valid HK driving license with Class 1. Holder with Class 2 is preferred
